Dr. T. Mohan Das was born on April 2, 1973, and his journey in the field of chemistry began with an exceptional academic record. He completed his Undergraduate studies in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics from the Gandhigram Rural Institute in 1993. His passion for chemistry led him to pursue a Postgraduate degree in Chemistry, which he completed in 1995 from the same institute.

His academic pursuit reached new heights when he was awarded a Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2001 from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, under the guidance of Prof. C. P. Rao.
