Since 2022, he has served as a Principal Scientist at CSIR-CDRI, leading a team of researchers focused on developing innovative therapeutic strategies.

His research explores the desymmetrization of prochiral cyclohexadienones to create complex polycyclic compounds and heterocycles, which are crucial in drug development. His innovative approaches to p-quinol reactivity have also opened new pathways for site-selective multifunctional arenes, pushing the boundaries of chemical reactivity.
