After completing her Master's degree, she worked as a Research Scholar at the Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology, Bhubaneswar, focusing on the characterization and beneficiation of low-grade platinum group of elements ores. Subsequently, she transitioned into the role of Assistant Professor in Geology at CNCB Academy of Science and Technology, where she shared her knowledge and expertise with students while continuing her research pursuits.

Her research focus centers on hydrogeology, with a particular emphasis on groundwater exploration, aquifer characterization, and water resource management. Currently pursuing her doctoral degree, her research aims to investigate hydrogeological aspects in the northern parts of Nuapada district, Odisha, focusing on groundwater availability, quality, and sustainability. Additionally, her past work on fluoride signature in groundwater in parts of Kalahandi district underscores her commitment to addressing pressing issues in water quality and management.
