Dr. K. Bincy began her academic journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Naturopathy and Yogic Science (BNYS) from the Government Yoga and Naturopathy Medical College in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This foundational education laid the groundwork for her deep understanding of holistic health approaches. Driven by a passion for public health, she pursued a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) from the School of Public Health at SRM Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Kattankulathur. Her academic pursuits culminated in a PhD in Public Health from the same institution, where her research focused on assessing social networks and their impact on health, quality of life, and healthy aging among the geriatric population.

Dr. Bincy has been a dedicated professional at SRM Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Kattankulathur, Chennai since 2015. Serving as a Tutor cum Health Educator, she has imparted knowledge in community medicine, biostatistics, research methodology, and sociology to students across various allied health science courses. Her role extends beyond teaching, involving active participation in departmental NAAC work, project proposal preparation, and contributing to research activities. She has also served as a co-investigator in the National Geriatric Project, coordinating project activities and providing clinical health education to patients.
