Her academic journey began with a passion for pharmacology, culminating in her attainment of a Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Utkal University in 2022. Prior to this, she completed her post-graduation in Pharmacology with an outstanding score of 76.2% from Utkal University in 2016. Her academic excellence was evident even during her undergraduate studies, where she achieved an impressive CGPA of 8.76 in Bachelor of Pharmacy from BPUT in 2014.

Professional Endeavors

Her professional career has been marked by a blend of teaching, research, and academic contributions. With three years of experience in teaching and research at UDPS, Utkal University, serving as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Senior Research Fellow (SRF), she has honed her skills in both theoretical and practical aspects of pharmacology. Additionally, she has two years of teaching and academic experience at prestigious institutions like BIT-Hyderabad and RCPHS-Brahmapur, Odisha.

Contributions and Research Focus in Pharmacology

Her research endeavors have focused on various aspects of pharmacology, with a particular emphasis on cancer research. Her expertise spans basic cell and molecular biology techniques, including cell cultures, Western blotting, cytometry, RT-qPCR, cloning, and immunofluorescence staining. She has also delved into in vivo experiments in mice, exploring animal models of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO). Her research interests extend to immunopharmacology, nano-medicine, and molecular cloning/docking, demonstrating a diverse and multifaceted approach to pharmacological research.

Pharmacology is the branch of medicine and biology concerned with the study of drugs and their effects on living organisms. It encompasses various aspects of drug action, including pharmacokinetics (the absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion of drugs) and pharmacodynamics (the study of how drugs interact with their targets to produce therapeutic or toxic effects).

Accolades and Recognition

Her contributions to pharmacological research have been acknowledged through various accolades and recognition. Notably, she has been granted two patents and has applied for one patent, showcasing her innovative research contributions. Additionally, she has published 17 research papers, participated in multiple workshops, and presented her work at numerous conferences and poster presentations. Her book publications and participation in AICTE FDA programs further underscore her commitment to advancing pharmaceutical sciences.
