Rishabh Chalotra is a CSIR-Senior Research Fellow and doctoral scholar at the Laboratory of Neuroendocrinology and Metabolic Disorders, Department of Pharmacology, Central University of Punjab. His research focuses on addressing the complexities of Metabolic Syndrome through preclinical studies, exploring the therapeutic potential of natural phytoconstituents, and developing herbal-based solutions for improved clinical outcomes. He holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacology and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, with extensive experience in animal models, biochemical assays, pharmacokinetic studies, ELISA, RT-PCR, flow cytometry, and other advanced laboratory techniques. Rishabh has contributed to 18 peer-reviewed articles, six book chapters, and four patents, with his work cited 127 times, reflecting an h-index of 6 and an i10-index of 5. His publications explore metabolic disorders, diabetic complications, neurodegenerative diseases, and drug discovery, highlighting the role of flavonoids and natural compounds in therapeutic interventions. He has received the Young Investigator Award from the Indian Pharmacological Society and is a lifetime member of professional societies including the Indian Pharmacological Society, American Society for Microbiology, and British Pharmacological Society.
