Dr. Devajani Deka, MVSc, PhD, is Professor of Veterinary Public Health & Epidemiology at the College of Veterinary Sciences & AH, Central Agricultural University, Mizoram, with over 20 years of UG and 13 years of PG and PhD teaching experience. Her expertise includes zoonoses, food-borne pathogens, epidemiology, antimicrobial resistance, probiotics and molecular diagnostics. She has handled 14 funded projects, guided more than 40 MVSc scholars, published 62 research papers, edited books and manuals, and actively leads training, extension and public health awareness programmes across Northeast India for societal impact.
