He began his academic journey with a B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from Ch. Charan Singh University in 2003. He pursued M.Sc. in Physics & Electronics from the same university in 2005. Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, Solanki completed his M.Tech. in Materials Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2008. His thesis focused on investigations of organic solar cell devices. Later, he earned his Ph.D. in Physics from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2017, conducting research on morphology-dependent photophysics in bulk heterojunction organic solar cells.

Professional Endeavors :

After his postdoctoral research stint (2017-2019) at the School of Physics and Applied Physics, Nanyang Technological University, where he explored high-efficiency solar cells, memristor devices, and fundamental properties of halide perovskites, he joined Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics in July 2019.
