Dr. Bunil Kumar Balabantaray’s academic journey began with his foundational education in Information Technology. After completing his Bachelor’s degree (B.E.) from Balasore College of Engineering and Technology in 2005, he pursued his Master’s degree (M.Tech) from Dhaneswar Rath Institute of Engineering and Management Studies (DRIEMS) between July 2008 and June 2010. His master’s thesis focused on Path Planning and Multi-Robot Cooperation Using Extended Q-Learning and Evolutionary Multi-Objective Optimization Technique, a reflection of his early passion for robotics, machine learning, and optimization. His thirst for knowledge and innovation led him further into the field of Industrial Design, where he obtained his Ph.D. from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela in 2017.
