Dr. Puja Dey was born on April 28, 1979. Her academic journey began in West Bengal, India, where she completed her Madhyamik (1995) and Higher Secondary (1997) from WBBSE and WBCHSE respectively. She earned her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics from the University of North Bengal (2000 & 2002), and successfully qualified GATE in 2002. Her pursuit of advanced research led her to IIT Kharagpur, where she earned her Ph.D. in Physics (2008), specializing in Magnetism and Magnetic Materials.
