Dr. P. Muthupriya embarked on his academic journey with a strong foundation in Civil Engineering. He completed his B.E. in Civil Engineering from Sri Krishna College of Technology, Coimbatore, in 2000, followed by an M.E. in Structural Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, in 2002. His academic excellence was underscored by his exceptional performance in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2000), where he secured an impressive score.

Dr. Muthupriya began his professional career as a Lecturer at Sri Krishna College of Technology, Coimbatore, in 2003. Over the years, he progressed through various academic positions, including Senior Lecturer and Assistant Professor, before assuming the role of Associate Professor at Karunya University, Coimbatore, in 2014. Currently, he serves as Professor and Head at Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, a position he has held since June 2016.
