🎓 Early Academic Pursuits

Trilochan Rout’s journey into the world of academia and engineering began with a solid foundation in his early education. Completing his high school from Sarala High School, Bhitar Andhari, Odisha, in 1998 with a commendable First Division (67.20%), he showcased an aptitude for science and technology. This interest carried forward to his +2 Science studies at A.S.D College Tirtol, Odisha, where he passed with Second Division (50.00%) in 2000.

Fuelled by a passion for engineering, Trilochan pursued a B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from GHITM Puri, Odisha, earning a First Division (65.14%) in 2005. His drive for deeper learning led him to pursue an M.Tech. in Computer Science at Berhampur University, Odisha, achieving an impressive First Division (75%) in 2009. To cement his academic pursuits, Trilochan embarked on a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering at IIIT Bhubaneswar in November 2020. His research focused on the identification of essential cancer proteins in PPI networks using efficient graph-based algorithms. With his Ph.D. thesis submitted in October 2024, he stands at the threshold of contributing groundbreaking advancements in computational biology.

He began as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Roland Institute of Technology, Berhampur, Odisha, from 2007 to January 2010.
