Govinthasamy Government Arts and Science College, Tindivanam, Tamil Nadu, affiliated with Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore. He completed his undergraduate degree from 2008 to 2011 with first-class distinction. Pursuing further specialization, he obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from Sri Velavan Institute of Education, under Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, achieving first-class distinction in the academic year 2011-2012. He continued to excel academically, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry from R.K.M. Vivekananda College, University of Madras, from 2012 to 2014, graduating with first-class honors.

Dr. Manikandan’s professional journey began as a lecturer at Government Central Polytechnic College, Tharamani, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, where he served from June 2014 to January 2016. He then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry at the University of Madras, under the guidance of Prof. N. Rajendiran, from February 2016 to August 2023. His research focused on the synthesis of bio-surfactant and organic compound templated noble metal nanoparticles/nanoclusters for biological and chemical applications. His notable research title was “N-Cholyl Penicillamine Encapsulated Noble Metal Nanostructures for Biological and Chemical Applications.”
