Dr. Dipak Mazumdar is an accomplished physicist specializing in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics with a focus on strongly correlated electron systems, rare-earth and transition metal-based magnetic materials. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics under Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai, complemented by an M.Sc. in Physics from Gauhati University and a Post M.Sc. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Arya Vidyapeeth College (Autonomous), Guwahati, Dr. Mazumdar has also held research and teaching positions at IIT Kanpur and the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics.
