His academic pursuit reached its pinnacle with a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, in April 2010. His dissertation centered around the phytochemical and pharmacological investigations of medicinal plants for anti-acne activity.

He has had a distinguished career, including serving as a Lecturer-IV at the International Medical University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from December 2012 to August 2017. Currently, he holds the position of Professor and Principal at GITAM School of Pharmacy, GITAM (Deemed to be University), Telangana, India, since August 2017. He has been instrumental in shaping the education and research landscape. Prior to this, he served as a Lecturer-IV at the International Medical University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from December 2012 to August 2017.
