Kallabi Borah embarked on her academic journey in the field of nursing with a B.Sc. in Nursing from Silchar, followed by a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing from the Army Institute of Nursing, Guwahati. Her commitment to mental health and psychosocial care deepened with each academic milestone, culminating in her current full-time Ph.D. in Psychiatric Nursing at Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, with a specialization in Suicide Prevention.

With a strong foundation in nursing and psychiatric care, Kallabi has excelled as a researcher and presenter in national and international academic platforms. She actively contributes to evidence-based mental health practices through scholarly writing and community engagement. She is registered as a nurse and midwife under the Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ and Health Visitors’ Council and is a lifetime member of the Trained Nurses Association of India.
