She embarked on her academic journey with a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Holy Cross College (Autonomous), Trichy, followed by an M.Sc. in Chemistry at St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Trichy. During her M.Sc., she conducted research on Phytochemical Screening and Antimicrobial Studies on the Medicinal Plant Vitex Altissima, which resulted in the publication of two articles. Subsequently, she pursued her Ph.D. in Chemistry at Bharathidasan University, focusing on the isolation, characterization, and pharmacological applications of bioactive principles from Melia dubia and Combretum ovalifolium.
