He then pursued his Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from Bangalore University in November 1997. Following this, he completed his Master's in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) with a specialization in Pharmacognosy from Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy, RGUHS, Bangalore, Karnataka, in September 2000. His academic pursuit reached its pinnacle with a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, in April 2010. His dissertation centered around the phytochemical and pharmacological investigations of medicinal plants for anti-acne activity.

He has had a distinguished career, including serving as a Lecturer-IV at the International Medical University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from December 2012 to August 2017. Currently, he holds the position of Professor and Principal at GITAM School of Pharmacy, GITAM (Deemed to be University), Telangana, India, since August 2017.
