Graduating with distinction from B.S.E, Odisha in 1992, he continued his academic excellence by securing first division in +2 Sc. from C.H.S.E, Odisha in 1994. His passion for electrical engineering led him to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Utkal University, Odisha, where he graduated with flying colors, again securing the first division. He furthered his education by obtaining a Master's degree in Power System Engineering from NIT, Jamshedpur, where he maintained his stellar academic record, graduating with a remarkable 7.88 CGPA.

His professional journey commenced as he delved into the realm of academia. Joining as an Associate Professor in Electrical Engineering at Govt. College of Engineering, Kalahandi in 2001, he embarked on a path of imparting knowledge and shaping future engineers. With his expertise in Power System Engineering, he specialized in areas such as Flexible AC transmission system (FACTS), power system stability, and economic operation of power systems.

Throughout his career, he has made significant contributions to the field of Electrical Engineering, particularly in Power Systems.
