Following his Ph.D., Dr. Kulkarni embarked on a post-doctoral research journey as a Research Associate at the Materials Research Centre and Centre for Nano Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Here, under the mentorship of Prof. S.A. Shivashankar, he expanded his expertise in the rapid synthesis of magnetic and optical semiconducting nanoparticles through solution chemistry.
