Dr. Supriyo Chakraborty is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Assam University, Silchar, with over two decades of teaching and research experience. He holds an MSc and PhD in Plant Breeding & Genetics from Assam Agricultural University and Dibrugarh University, respectively, and completed his Postdoctoral research at NC State University, USA, focusing on QTL mapping in plants.
