Prof.Dr. Priyabrata Pattanaik is a Professor of Electronics and Communication Engineering and an active research leader contributing significantly in semiconductor sensors and IoT-enabled device innovation. He has supervised doctoral, postgraduate, and undergraduate research while holding key academic and research administrative roles including Additional Dean (Research) and Director of research and innovation initiatives. His academic identity reflects strong research impact with more than 100 indexed publications (Scopus: Documents 99, Citations 238, h-index 8; Web of Science: Documents 38, Citations 83, h-index 5; Google Scholar: Documents 85, Citations 279, h-index 9) and a portfolio of 33 patents, including several granted. He has engaged in multiple international and national research collaborations, advancing sensor materials like ZnO and Sr-HT-Willemite for biomedical, textile, and agricultural applications. With a strong background in VLSI design, semiconductor device simulation, and interdisciplinary prototype development, he combines academic depth with practical innovation. His professional journey includes extensive teaching experience, research lab leadership, conference organization, and reviewer and editorial responsibilities. He continues to contribute to emerging smart sensing technologies for societal and industry advancement.
