Dr. Deepak Sharma is a dynamic researcher and educator specializing in Physical Education and Yoga Sciences, currently pursuing his Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University. With a strong academic foundation including advanced degrees in Physical Education and a Postgraduate Diploma in Yogic Sciences, he has built extensive expertise in yoga instruction, sports training, biomechanics, and therapeutic exercise. His research primarily focuses on yoga’s physiological and psychological impact, electromyography (EMG), and sports performance enhancement. As a Yoga and Fitness Trainer, he has designed and conducted numerous yoga therapy programs, strength and conditioning sessions, and sports injury management workshops. His scholarly contributions include several peer-reviewed publications such as “A Systematic Literature Review on Yoga and Asanas” and “Therapeutic Impact of Pranayama Practices,” accumulating an h-index of 3, over 45 citations, and 6 indexed research documents. Recognized for his excellence in promoting yogic science, he was honored with the “Adiyogi Yog Bhushan Award”. Deepak Sharma has actively participated in international conferences, workshops, and athletic events, reflecting his commitment to bridging traditional yoga wisdom with modern scientific research. His vision is to advance integrative approaches in physical education and therapeutic yoga for holistic human development.
